ATTENDANT PUMPS, B2: SERITI POWER, MIDDELBURG MINE SERVICES, MPUMALANGA

EXTERNAL – 7 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT

The role:

• To provide general assistance to ensure safe and cost-effective mining

The duties will include but are not limited to:

• Remove and installation of Pumps at water bodies
• Move pumps on pump trolley to different areas
• Install water columns down the ramp and input
• Reclaim water columns during section moves
• Send out the damaged pump for repairs
• Report any defects, damages, and non-conformance to the control room
• Conduct a mini risk assessment of the working area
• Monitor water bodies
• Install demarcation at water bodies (signboards)

You will need:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics
• In-depth knowledge of the Safety rules and regulations
• Valid Code B driver’s license is essential
• Valid Medical fitness certificate

Advantageous:

• Minimum of 1 experience in a mining environment
